[Position Overview]

The Recruiter will be a key driver in expanding MUSINSA Japan's talent pool, focusing on end-to-end recruitment for critical positions across all departments (including E-commerce, operations, marketing, and corporate functions). This position requires an experienced professional capable of managing complex recruitment processes, contributing to employer branding, and strictly adhering to Japanese labor standards while working in a dynamic multinational environment.


[Key Responsibilities]

Advanced Talent Acquisition

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiation, and closing) for roles ranging from specialist to management levels.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to define job requirements, formulate effective sourcing strategies, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Actively manage diverse recruitment channels, including job sites, social media, and internal referrals, to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives specific to the Japanese market to attract top-tier talent.
  • Conduct market research and provide data-driven insights regarding the competitive hiring landscape.

HR Operation Support

  • Manage the transition from recruitment to onboarding, ensuring seamless data entry and coordination of documentation for new hires.
  • Support the HR team in maintaining and updating HR policies related to recruitment and initial employment.
  • Perform HRIS data management for all candidate and new hire records.

Legal Compliance and Training Contribution

  • Ensure that all recruitment practices strictly comply with Japanese labor law and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the Talent Acquisition portion of onboarding programs for new hires.


[Qualifications]

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in Japan, with a strong focus on in-house recruitment and talent acquisition
  • Proven track record of successful recruitment for diverse roles in fast-paced industries (such as technology, E-commerce, or retail)
  • Deep and strong knowledge of Japanese labor law concerning recruitment and initial employment
  • Native-level Japanese
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in the use of HRIS/ATS tools


[Preferred]

  • Experience in the E-commerce, retail, or fashion industries
  • Experience working in global or multinational companies
  • Recruitment or HR-related certifications
  • Business-level Korean or Business-level English (for communication with Korea HQ)
